Jack and Ebay

So there was this one mom (me) who owned a Kindle Fire that her pre-schooler (Jack) often used to play fun and age appropriate games (and the occasional round of Angry Birds).

One day, this mom was surfing EBAY and was also logged into her ebay account.  Her darling child came along and asked to use the Kindle.  She closed the browser window and handed it over.

A few hours later she checked her email.

'Your bid is confirmed...' followed closely by 'Enjoy your Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ18 8.1 MP Digital Camera - Black'.

She gasped in horror.  Her heart was racing; what camera?  What bid?  She didn't bid on anything!

HER THREE YEAR OLD BID, AND WON, A CAMERA.

Crap.  What was she to do?  Send the seller a message explaining her idiocy?  Try to weasel out of the bid somehow?

Instead she took a deep breath and reviewed her 'new camera'.  It wasn't new at all, in fact, it was a year older than her current Lumix.  But it was fancier; had more manual settings and adjustments, was able to accept different lenses and accessories, and people loved it.

And the price was right.  And her current camera was broken.

Soooo... she paid for it.

it already does better than the newer Lumix ZS3 for interior low-light pics
