It was Crypticon Minneapolis 2012. A convention dedicated to monsters and zombies and horror and gore. It's probably not the type of venue we'd normally attend, but it was something new to do and we were able to spend some ghoulish quality time with Tom's cousin.
There were several scary movie celebs there - the highlight for me was meeting Richard 'Jaws' Kiel. He posed nicely with the ladies and squeezed the men's heads. We even had him autograph a fantastic 60's B-Movie poster of Eegah. I'm saving it for someday when we have man-cave to decorate.
It was definitely an interesting evening. Lots of zombies and goofballs and people spraying fake blood. We even met Twin Cities Ghostbusters! For real. They have a public access TV show. WHodathunkit?
