Operation MILF: Two Week Progress Report

I know that all of the healthy/diet conscience/trainer people say 'Eat to Live, not Live to Eat'.  But after spending the last two weeks thinking and planning so carefully about each meal and every little morsel that hit my lips... I still feel like I'm Living to Eat (except it's not delicious and exciting foods laden with creamy sauces and cheese).

I haven't had a pop.
I haven't had fast food.
I haven't had any fancy coffee drinks.
I haven't had ANY sweets, chocolate or bakery crap.
I haven't used (as much) butter.  Yes, I am still using a little bit for sauteing vegetables.  It makes carmelized onions taste soooo much better.  But thats it... Really.  ;)

So how did eating better affect my weight?

I'm down 5 lbs
I lost 3 inches off my waist
I lost an inch off my bust
My hips stayed the same
I lost half an inch off my thighs
I lost half an inch off my arms

(WTF- my ass didn't shrink?  At all?  ARRGGGHHHHH)

I'm disappointed that the scale didn't move more, but encouraged by the measurement differences.  It's not much, but it's a start!

Also, I wonder if I don't have a little bit of a wheat sensitivity.  I had a slice of whole wheat bread, after NOT having any wheat for 10 days, and my middle bloated like crazy for a day.  Hmmm something to consider.
