Hot of the Sewing Machine! Kindle Fire Star Trek Inspired Padded Cover

After making a prototype at my MIL's last week I finally sat down today to put a 'real' cover together.  Even though I had the basic construction down, adding fabric accents, patches, an elastic loop and button threw me off a little.  So it ain't perfect, but the next one will be.  I have two more Star Trek patches and plan on making one in red and another in blue.  Keep your eyes on Camp Honeybelle - they will be for sale soon!

Why Star Trek you ask?  Why not!?  I've been watching the original series on Netflix lately.  I think I might be a closet Trekkie.
