I do.
I have them pretty often. Like when I just need a minute, or an hour, or an afternoon to get something done and he keeps Captain Jack busy while I get busy. Or when I just want to escape and get lost in the thrift store, he'll take Jack to Menards and do Man-Stuff while I shop. Or the fact that he commutes an hour each way, nearly every day, so that we can live in a small town and I can be a stay-at-home mom. And then when he tells me he loves me, he appreciates me, and he is so happy to have me - my heart melts all over again. Or when he says he wants to have a third baby when the second one isn't even out of the oven yet! (Not sure that I want a third, but it sure makes me feel loved to know that this man loves me, our kid(s) and wants to have even more of them.)
But today, today I am thankful because my Super Awesome Husband bought me diamond earrings for Valentines Day. Yes! Yes he did! Can you believe it?! Neither can I. I've never had such finery gracing my ears before.
I am a lucky, lucky, lucky girl. Thank you, Tommy. I love you with all my heart and soul!
